About us

We are the Recognised Research Group «Optical Diagnostic Techniques», a multi- and interdisciplinary group that directs its studies towards improving human vision from an optical and biological point of view. To this aim, it relies on Ophthalmology professionals who transmit clinical needs to researchers in the optics laboratory of the Faculty of Science (Optical Physics) and the departments of Cell Biology, Genetics, Histology and Pharmacology (Faculty of Medicine) and Biochemistry (IBGM-CSIC).
